To become a new member of the AAP, click on 'Member Application' and fill out the form - (left).

Membership of the AAP is open not only to professional philosophers but to all interested persons. The AAP welcomes applications for membership.

Membership of the Australasian Association of Philosophy is available only to individuals, whose subscription monies go entirely to the Association and are applied to its purposes. By courtesy of Taylor & Francis, the benefits of membership include a free subscription to the Australasian Journal of Philosophy, if you would like to receive a hard copy of the Australasian Journal of Philosophy in addition you can select this option when you join or renew your membership in 2010.

Members are either Full or Associate Members. Full members are those members, including research students, who are or have been active in Australasian philosophy at tertiary (postgraduate research) level. Full members have voting rights at AGMs. In all other ways, Members - Associate and Full - have the same rights and benefits.

Concession rates are available to students, retirees and unemployed.

Membership is for the calendar year 1st January 2010 - 31st December 2010

  • Voting rights at the AGM for Australasian (Full) Members;

  • A subscription to the Australasian Journal of Philosophy, including online access to the Journal and to the digitised archive back to Volume 1 (1923);
